Important Tax Deadlines

In order to have adequate time to prepare your return properly, we must receive your information early enough to allow us to input and analyze your data and have a partner review your return so that we may provide you with the best results for your tax situation.Thereforewe ask that you have all 1040 information to us no later than March 28, 2014.

If you are planning to extend your return, we will also need to hear from you by March 28, 2014. Extensions are not automatic and any taxes that are owed must be paid with the extension to avoid penalties.  Therefore, we need enough information and adequate time to calculate the payment due.

The March 28, 2014 deadline also applies to 1041 and 1065 returns.

The corporate return deadline is February 28, 2014. As with individual returns, we can provide you a better work product if we have adequate time to do a thorough job.

As April 15th approaches, e-filing slows down due to the volume of last minute returns being filed. Therefore, we ask that all signed 8879s authorizing us to e-file your tax returns, be signed and returned to us as soon as possible, but no later than April 10, 2014.
